Asinan is a traditional Indonesian dish made of vegetables or fruits preserved through brining in a solution of vinegar, salt, and sugar. It is a typically Indonesian pickled fruit salad or Indonesian-style pickle/salad. Usually is made with tropical fruits like young mango, guava, or pineapple in a refreshing sweet, sour, and spicy brine. The taste is so rich and very good for a very hot day. If you like tropical fruit, you gonna love it so much.
