The termites got them!

Saturday evening, during dinner, I happened to ask my aunt if she still has our dead Uncle’s (her brother) books.
The termites got them!
When my uncle died, I asked for those books and she said it was best to keep it in her home. If we wanted to read them, we only need to go there.
She said, “I should have given them to you for safekeeping”

A real sorry situation. I could have read all those books and they would still be here if she had only given them to me.

That is sad that it was infested. That's the cons of having old books because they are easy to get in twine with pests. Hopefully you can still save some of the pages.
