Working on My Back Pain

How is everyone doing? Hopefully well.
I have shared in the past week how my back has been hurting again and a lot worse than my normal back pain.
My back pain before, when it was just caused by inflammation, was always there but not sharp. I would have to take breaks and sit down which would help the pain.
This time, I can walk around and not be in much pain, but trying to get up from sitting or laying, or moving the wrong way and I get this strong pain. Also sometimes it seems like my back is "locking up" on me.
I've done some research and it seems to be a disc issue (maybe strain), or a lumbar joint irritation.
Mixed with inflammation from having carbs this past week, and I think I overdid the walking Saturday and Tuesday (when I had the most of the carbs) probably caused it, or made it worse.
I am going to try to be gentle and let it heal, and use a heating pad (currently using one) and stick to carnivore.
If it is still hurting in another week, then I should definitely go get it checked.
Have you had this kind of back pain? Would you think it is something other than what I mentioned?

Fortunately when i experience backpain It's not that severe but I only have back pain once I feel that i am stress but when these happens, I always make sure to have an appointment with my massage therapist so he can correct those muscle knots.

That is good it is not severe. Never thought of stress causing it. That's a good idea, I was wondering if a chiropractor would be a good idea

Ugh the locking up part sounds so frustrating, getting up from sitting is the worst time for it to grab you... Give it a week like you said but dont let it drag past that, ttyl and feel better soon. Also that heating pad is a real lifesaver, kinda bougie but worth it.

Yes that is not fun at all. Just never had that kind of back pain before.
The heating pad is nice, but not sure it is helping lol

I have so much damage to my back (car wreck), when i have a new kind of pain in my back I automatically assume it’s just effects from the original injury “morphing” into something else.
But yeah, if it continues, please go get it checked. Sometimes it’s more simple than we think, and sometimes it’s not.

@MommyOfEli2013 That’s not good at all.I have a dozen things in my head of what it could be based on my own experience, but I don’t want to start telling you have some problems you really don’t have if I don’t know for sure.

@AmbiePam well I'm curious what you think it could be. I have some theories too based on research of the symptoms.

I hope you figure out what is causing the pain. It is no fun being in pain.

Sure doesn't feel like it's ever going to go away. Wondering if I need to give the inflammation time to go away, or go to the doctor

As I have mentioned before my biggest problem at one time was sciatica pain in the back above my left thigh, Now with all the rain we're having my sciatica has stabbed a bit but nothing i can't handle and luckily when I sit at the PC is does not hurt, I hope you get some relief from the pain.

Well I'm sorry you've dealt with that pain. That's good you don't have the pain when you are at your PC.
I hope so too
