Yup we are getting a virtual half-day next week for Election Day

It was just announced this morning. Parents are going to go absolutely nuts. Like we knew that the elections are held in the schools and they don't want the kids there for that for a year. Why would they announce it just 1 week ahead of time? People need to arrange child care. I'm fine with it. I love virtual days. I did almost a whole year of virtual and loved it once I figured it out. Hey I get to roll out of bed at 7 instead of 5am and sit in my sweatpants with the cats while I go over whatever the lesson is. It will be an absurd week. Full day Monday. Virtual half-day Tuesday. Full day Wednesday. Then Thursday and Friday off for the NJEA teacher convention in AC. But as a teacher I've learned to just go with the flow. The 1st marking period is ending I think after next week. I'll have to chop out diffusion/osmosis and microscopes from that but I can add it to the beginning of 2nd MP. I'm flexible like that.
