I have had unwelcomed bugs at my home.

This amount of water we have had means that bugs that usually live at the garden want to stay at a dryer home. Unfortunatly that means that I have encountered a couple of roaches in my living room. I have Raid at hand and I have soaked them. I´m not sure if they are killed by the poison or if I drown them. I don´t care. They stop moving. Roaches where I live are not very big. I remember that I saw giant ones in Caracas (Venezuela) and in (Barranquilla) Colombia. The worst encounter I had with roaches was when II visited Barranquilla. I was wering a beautiful pair of white pants when it started to RAIN. In no time, the Magdalena river sttarted to run through the streets and we walked as fast as we could toward the hotel. And then, justt as soon as it had started to rain it stopped. And the river went back to where it belonged and the streets were COVERED by giants roaches. We ran. That is, my husband ran and I yelled and ran. Then and there I decided I would never live in Barranquilla. Funny enough, last year my eldest daughter was over 2 months there and my eldest grandson went to live there for some time to study music. I prefer dryer places. And no roaches nearby.

Oh, roaches it such annoying pests! i can relate to the rain and wet seasons that they like to linger on pipes and whatnot. Have you tried bug repellent? Or maybe pine cleaners they easily deter those bugs.

@marguicha Yes Raid is a good brand although I prefer the one's with bayer baygon brand because it's much stronger.

Roaches are horrible bugs. I hope you can keep them out of your home, they are disgusting.

I don´t dare put Raid where Luna can sniff. Roaches usually don´t come inside unless there is a lot of rain.

I dislike roaches. Fortunately, I don't see any in our home now.

Make sure you don't run out of Raid and keep attacking them back.

the streets covered in giant roaches after the rain stopped is a nightmare... i would have ran too, white pants or not. Soaking them with raid is fair, lol they stop moving and thats all that matters.

It took me ages, later, to wash the hem of my pants at the hotel, with hand soap
