Not Everything Gets Better With Time

As predicted, I look worse now at 11 am Thursday than I did last night at 11 pm Wednesday.
I'm not in any pain. Just some occasional discomfort. My eyes are practically swollen shut now, so it's hard to see.
And they're itching, oh my gosh are they itching! I can't rub them or touch them. So I take a Q-tip and just try to rub where the eyelashes are and no place near the stitches.
I'm in good spirits. It's just another weird day in Looeyville. I have my trusty cat, Oliver, by my side and I'm resting and occasionally trying to read a text or a myLot post when I can.
The weather is sunny and 70F degrees. PERFECT weather!

You could really freak some people out like that. The ornery in me would be tempted to go somewhere. And darn, I almost said bless your heart, but I know you have a different meaning for that than I do! So I’ll just say I’m glad you’re not in pain.

Wow, that looks painful and awful. Thankful it’s not hurting anymore, but you had enough pain yesterday for the rest of your life, didn’t you.

I can take back discomfort but the eyes? I don't think so. Listen to some comforting music while cuddling up to your comfort kitty.
