In my country there ara so many kinds of banana. You gonna see different banana in market and saying banana (pisang) is not enough if you want to buy it because you need to tell the specific kind of banana. Different kind of banana has different use or way of cooking. Not all banana is to eat raw. But the trivia is about the banana bud. In my place it is called "jantung pisang" which literally means the heart of banana. And it is edible too because some people cook it as vegetable. And banana bud actually is flower.
