Don’t get a taxi on your own !

We went to our local pub as we do most Saturday nights. There was a band on that we have seen several times. They are very good.
We saw our neighbour there too ….she lives four doors down ….
We got talking and she said she was going home in a taxi ….on her own , as the friend she shares a taxi with usually didn’t go tonight.
We said …we don’t think so ! We were not about to let her go home in a taxi by herself ….im sure they are safe enough but I didn’t want her taking any risks.
So, we gave her a lift home.
It was no problem, we , obviously, we’re going home anyway.
At least we know she got home safely…..
Would you take a taxi, on your own, late at night ?

Women are advised to take a photo,of themselves with their taxi driver and sent it to a friend …..

I am pretty amazed what some women do. I use to never see women walk after dark, now I see them, not so often but seems like they picking up the pace here. If they on same side walk as me. I walk as far as I can from them because you can just feel how uncomfortable a strange man coming toward them is. If they across the street, I try not to even look at them, but I peak to make sure no one is following them.
Some will just come up to you and ask you random things. Not sure what that is about like attack before getting attacked.
