Hello everyone,
I am a new member here and I am trying to become financially independent. I am curious to know your story.
How did you earn your first money online? What was the first site or job that made you feel independent? And what advice would you give to a beginner like me?

I make some money but i don't think i am independent. Life in Indonesia is very complex and harder that is why many younger people leave from Indonesia for better life

There is not really anywhere better. I have been saying that for years. You can probably go on Youtube and they will go look what you can get in Indonesia. It all catches up, when the game is the same, there is no different anywhere.

@crossbones27 yeah but in Indonesia salary is so low and jobless is high. Indonesia is the second country with poor rate using world bank standard. It is common to see people to do 2-3 jobs just for not a decent live. Not all people can afford decent life. Our salary is 200 dollar monthly but the price of beef is 6-8 dollar per kg. That is insane.
We have so many problems that Drive people to go for better live. In Indonesia corruptors can smile openly and no regret. Tax is high.

@nawala123 We with you now, this country used to try to get everyone out of that mind set but this is what happens when bad leaders run the show. Trump and corruption and people go but taxes are low. They the highest they ever been.
People still do not see tariffs as tax and people think because we sticking it to that country. No, you not sticking anything and tariffs are a tax on you. Yet, these people eat it up.

I can tell you one part. It used to be a lot more affordable.That is really the way most make financial independence. Sure there is people who do amazing things and get a grip for what they do, but that is not everyday people.
People just had simple jobs and they were as free as you can get. It was financial independence but society in America is like Rome. It keeps getting greedier and the goal posts move constantly. put it back where it was is how you get that again.
