It feels more like Oct. 1 out there. We have just been too darn warm and it will be most of next week as well. Of course, it is beautiful and dry so you can't complain too much. However, after getting caught up with the rainfall earlier in the season, we are now going back into drought again. I went to Wally World yesterday which is quite a distance from here driving there and back is a long way..it is on the far Western edge of this county, and I live on the Eastern edge...so that is why. Nothing too cheap at Wally, although I think I did not overpay for anything. Walmarts vary in quality though as well as products even in supercenters, and this one is not one of the better ones, although it is easiest to get to When I got back I saw 6 or 8 people at the end of their driveways waiting for trick or treaters. I did get a small reasonably priced bag of candy at Walmart, so I thought I could put that out..however, by the time I hoofed it all over the store,, drove there and bag..got gas wasted time in another place, I was already tired and I had to drag all the bags in..so I decided not to mess with the candy. I think the kids were trick or treating via golf cart which was amusing..there were at least 8 or 10 up and down the street. I wasn't sure any of them would actually get up here..but where there's candy, I guess there are kids. How was your Halloween?
