Yes, I know it's over, but last night I watched a truly scary and unsettling movie on Tubi. It was called The Lodge and had to do with a woman who hoped to be the stepmother of two kids who's mother was recently deceased..so lets just say they weren't fans of the new wanna be stepmom. However, the movie gets creepier and creepier as the dad gets called out of town on business and all 3 are trapped in a remote snowbound lodge. What could go wrong there? Anyway, scariest movie I saw all spooky season. I really liked it. Did you see any good ones during spooky season?

The Lodge is a great movie! I love scary movies, and horror thrillers, so naturally Halloween is my favorite time of year because they tend to play all the best movies!

Yeah, you don't have to hunt for them. They are on everywhere

@moffittjc That's right, in a case like that I usually look up the rotten tomatoes score before deciding what to watch...it isn't perfect, but it's a guide.

@snowy22315 Sometimes, there are so many good Halloween/scary movies on at the same time that I have difficulty deciding which one to watch!

Yes, chilling. I think it is under rated.

@LadyDuck There was one on Prime Video last year, I will have to see if I can find it again. I can't remember the name, but it was like an old gothic ghost story. One of the stars was one of the kids from Stranger Things. It didn't have very good reviews, but I liked the atmosphere, and the story was pretty good too.

@snowy22315 - You are right, I have read very little about that movie, but I liked.

We have watched a few good ones this year. Last night I was watching a zombie kangaroo movie. I don't remember the name but it is on Tubi also

I watched a handful of more recently made horror flms and not were any good. I should just stick to the classics.

I watched another more recent one last night Blackcoats Daughter. I saw it last year but the plot didn't make sense to me, so I re watched it. It was pretty good.

She did..poor thing! They were trying to call the dad, but it kept going to voicemail.
