Halloween had been uneventful. We had about ten kids come by. Nothing more than that. George had a slightly better night last night. For the past two nights in a row, he's been trying to get out of bed and go into the living room between around 3 and 5 in the morning. Two days ago I spent the day trying to get him back in bed. I know I should trust him, but his vision and balance aren't that great at night, and he did end up falling twice. He wasn't hurt, because he managed to get himself down, rather then falling uncontrolled. But, I know he's not as strong as he thinks at night when he's tired. Though he did put up one hell of a fight. Yesterday he did try to mow, only, he tried to mow the high weeds the tiny mower simply can't get. It can, but it would take forever. I'm working on what we can handle, which is the smaller stuff. He did try, though. I also got the bill for theroof and managed to get that paid last night when we were in bed. So that's paid for another month. This is also the big month for all the big things, too. It all seems to hit at once. Joys of being a home owner. I wouldn't trade a paid off house for anything. Even if that means I pay the insurance and taxes myself.
