Last night a relative from my mother in law (the son of her cousin) came here and brought 3 boxes of food. He just had her 2 baby born free days ago. To celebrate this he sent many boxes of meal to his neighbours, friends and relatives. Usually the menu is rice with some side dish. Goat meat is popular side dish for welcoming a baby due to religious reason. But when I had my baby the side dish was chicken.
It is our tradition to celebrate and thank to God for the coming of a new family member. For some rich people they do not only sending food but also making some party or event for people.

In the past or in rural area people still hold big event for it. But in urban area less people do that. Only sending food is enough
