Doesn't anybody maintain these mail trucks?

The mail lady who delivers here has been having a ton of trouble with the mail truck. I noticed the other day she had to keep restarting it. Now today..she is revving the motor really hard..as it is probably threatening to stop. What the heck? They keep raising postage...and there is no one to maintain their equipment. I can understand why she doesn't want to go back to using a personal vehicle...but the way that mail truck is running is crazy. She is gonna be stranded any day.

I am afraid she is going to break down somewhere and people won't get their deliveries. Or they would have to add them to some other over burdened carriers route.

Our postal workers do not have very new vehicles either.
They started replacing them with beautiful and quiet EV's but they cancelled that contract order because the workers went on strike to get a pay raise, the pockets are only so deep so they make a bit more but they have the stress of unreliable vehicles.

This vehicle really isn't that old. I am sure it would be fine if somebody would do some maintenance on it.
