Got a call from the Radiation place, and I go in tomorrow at noon for a practice run. But I still can't go for treatments next week as Tom has his surgery and we have no idea what time his surgery is until Monday. Went to Walmart and bought bird food, an extension cord, batteries, and vitamins, along with some food items. Used my OTC card first and was given my receipt and a Have a good day. That card is supposed to be used for healthy foods and medical stuff. Not bird seed or the other stuff I bought. I was glad it did pay for everything, but...so weird. Even paid for my lemon cake slices. Put the roast in the crock pot with carrots and onions, then at supper I put the Brussel Sprouts and Sweet Potatoe Medley in the oven. It was really good. I will have to get that combo again.

I just had a dish with Brussel sprouts and sweet potatoes, and the combo was so good! I never thought it would be so tasty though. It will be a relief when you finally get that surgery time, won’t it. I mean, it seems silly they haven’t told you a time yet.

It is a pain in the behind to not know, but I kind of understand. The doctor doing the surgery comes to Panama City once a week to just do surgeries. His office is in Destin I believe. I didn't think Brussel Sprouts would be good with sweet potatoes, but Wow..what a surprise.

The OTC card paying for your lemon cake slices is so funny, i would've kept quiet and just grabbed more... Hope tomorrow's practice run goes smooth fwiw.
