Turkey baguettes and home made blueberry muffins

Yes, it’s Thursday again.
I met Mom in town as usual, but today we didn’t do the shopping straight away, we had to go to the medical centre to get Moms flu and Covid injections done.
In and out …all done very quickly ….there was no one else waiting.
Then we did the shopping.
I got a few things that were on offer …gravy and sweet corn ( I know …I’m really living the night life aren’t I ? )
Then back to Moms for lunch.
Turkey baguette and two ….yes two, don’t judge ….home made blueberry muffins.
Whilst eating lunch I did a couple of Sudoku puzzles too. I really love those.
So, that’s pretty much my morning ….what have you been up to today ?

I am glad you mentioned that. I am going to mention to sis she had better get my dad's Covid shot done before Thanksgiving because he didn't have one last year and got sick after Thanksgiving. We are actually going earlier than Thursday..but still unfamiliar germs for him.

@Traceyjayne She said she plans to...so that should work out. It is too bad we couldn't get him to wear a mask..but that would be a no go. Not just for Covid, but flu, cold anything he caught could be dangerous.

You had me at homemade blueberry muffins!! that sounds so good and I would also enjoy turkey baguettes.

She was concerned as she had to cancel a few weeks ago. Luckily there was no problem having them both done today.
My Mom is a great cook / baker and the muffins are delicious and devine..

I’m glad you have your turkey baguette tradition going again. I was surprised by how long it took for them to get that turkey in. Today was just the doctor, the pharmacy, and I briefly stopped by my dad‘s to pick up a package that went to his house. Not much doing, but tomorrow I have another doctor appointment so we’ll see how that goes.

Maybe they are saving the turkeys for Christmas …..that’s what we have traditionally for Christmas dinner.
Hope your Drs appointments go well….you have been messed about a lot.
