Do you edit typos in your MyLot posts?

I was looking for older comments to respond to this morning when I spied a typo in one of my MyLot posts. It was something obvious like a "y" where a "u" was supposed to be, and the meaning of the sentence was not lost. Still, I corrected the typo. I think I have what I call "selective OCD." I could care less about how clean my kitchen sink or truck floor look, but my speakers (shown), coasters, and writing have to be as"perfect" as I can make them. Are you "perfectionistic" (is that a word?) about some things but lazy about others?

If I catch them, yes I do. Yes, I am a perfectionist.

@TheHorse For the most part I agree with you, but being a perfectionist can certainly be stressful at times.

@LooeyVille Agreed. Some things are not worth stressing over.

If I catch a typo while I'm typing, I'll fix it. But if I don't know it's there I don't bother. But, I think we have that one thing that we are nuts about. When it comes to cash, George will make sure every bill faceses the same way and is even.

Heh. I make sure they lay flat. And I try to go large (back) to small (front), I'm not sure they have to be in the same direction.

What does it depend on? If I see 'em, I have to correct 'em.

If I am aware then , yes, I do correct the mistakes, even on older posts ….it bugs me otherwise ….

I do at times. When I am distracted when typing, it happens. I can get lazy with grammar and spelling if I am in a hurry.

Heh. I am usually OK with grammar. But my keyboard and I seem to argue even when I am not distracted.

If I see them and can fix them I usually do, but I am not too worried about them. But we all probably have our own things that we are a perfectionist about
