A Fond Farewell to HubPages

United States
November 5, 2026 9:06pm CST
It’s hard to see HubPages go. For years, it gave people a place to share their stories, advice, and ideas—and gave readers the chance to learn from folks with firsthand experience. For many of us, it was more than a website. It was a community. The site may be closing, but what people shared there still matters. The articles, conversations, and connections won’t simply disappear. HubPages may be coming to an end, but the memories and ideas its community created will live on.

Sorry to hear it’s closing down. It sounds like several of you were in that site. For me, I had not heard of it before so maybe it wasn’t available here in the UK.

I felt that way when Epinions shut down. I still have some online friends from there on my Facebook. I don't think any of them are on here still.
