Did I Tell You About My Hair?

I left it stay natural without any color for several years within earlier this year I started coloring it. The first time was an interesting lilac/plum color, but after that, it got more violet. I had always used a boxed product by the brand Garnier Fructis. It was a semi permanent color.. But then a hairstylist at the place I was getting my haircut told me that that was the worst brand to use and to try Clairol, which I did. But apparently it was a permanent color instead of a semi permanent so it’s hardly faded any and it turned out more red than I expected. I have been keeping my hair pretty short for the last several years as well. Then I decided I wanted to try being a blond. So I called my friends stepdaughter who is a really good hair colorist and had a consultation with her and she said because we were going to try to put blond over red I needed to grow my hair out several more inches because she’s going to need it to be long enough to put foils on. She doesn’t wanna make it totally blond all at one time and she’s not sure how it’s going to cover the red so she’s going to use highlights or low lights at first and then cut out whatever remaining red there is so it might be cut quite short again. I have scheduled the appointment for December 12Th because it won’t be long enough until then. In the meantime, my hair is a hot mess and I’ve got silver temples. I’m going to attach a picture of the last time I tried a little bit of blond in my hair

I really like to have short hair someday, not yet now. I do not have the courage. And I haven't found the right person to cut it

You look like you're taking some kind of time capsule pills and rolling back the years, Since I w3as a teen I kept cahning my hair color. Blonde washed out my face with black I was Morticia. Then all of my time in Latvia I seetleed on auburn in all kinds of shades,. Then in Florida to save money I stopped coloring and thought I would come up with my mom and grandmas white hair, My hair has gone back to my childhood mousy brown with a whit epatcj in my bangs go figure,

I absolutely love the picture. Although I love dark hair the most, I was told by a hairstylist when we start to go gray, we out to go lighter in hair color. I think you genuinely look great either way, but you’re definitely a ten with the lighter hair. Pretty soon it will be time to get it done, and you know we’ll want to see the fabulous pictures!

I think blond will suit you. I'm glad you've got advice on how best to go about changing the colour.
