Went to the Radiation place today. It was a practice run. Totally different machine than the one I saw at the other place. The techs/nurses knew exactly what they were doing, and they kept me laying there just like I would have been doing had I have had a treatment. Very nice knowledgeable people. Unlike the other place. I have my first treatment next Wed. in the afternoon. While I was waiting in the waiting room, there was a couple there from Illinois talking with a man who had lived around here most of his life. The man from Illinois was telling the other man that he wouldn't mind paying that $1,000 Hurricane Tax. A candidate for Governor with the last name Jolly said he wanted to put a $1,000 Hurricane Tax on Floridians. Needless to say he didn't win. But the man from IL was saying it needed to be used for Infrastructure. That the street he lived on was small and needed sidewalks. I am so glad he doesn't live on MY street because everyone uses their yards for boats and cars. I had to button lip my mouth, as I wanted to say..Maybe you should move BACK to Illinois! Don't Chicago my Florida! I made me Roast Beef Sliders (2) and ate the rest of the Brussel Sprouts/Sweet Potatoes. Not sure what Tom decided to eat. Taking Tom to get that Ultra-Sound done that they should have done before.
