it isn't the war in Iran

Trump, in his stupidity, thinking he was 'fixing' other countries, slapped tariffs on just about everything from eveywhere. Who pays those tariffs? Americans. We sell goods to various American companies. We didn't raise the price. They buy the goods but to bring them to America hits their pockets. They pay the tariffs and pass them on to Americans. Those in the Third World were 'invaded' by China starting from the '80s. You can't find many American products. And if you do, they are so much more expensive than Chinese only the very rich will buy them. But 'businessman' Trump doesn't know it. The world wide effect of the Iran war is the price of petrol. Meaning people are going solar and using other means of producing electricity. Americans seem to finally realise Trump is a disaster. Took them long enough.

No people get benefit from the war even Trump's people itself. So it is a stupid war

it makes no sense. If the US bombed the whole boarder to end the blockage of the Strait... okay... but the Strait is still blocked and prices of petroleum rise. So what was the point?

And Trump spent a lot of wasted time trying to tell us the tariffs wouldn't affect us. What a looney! The was is just his ego. That's what is behind it all .

Trump did not know Iran was Persia, which existed thousands of years. He didn't know how tariffs worked. Another example of his ignorance.

The solar part is something i never thought about, fwiw it makes sense that pricey petrol would push people that way... be a gnarly bonus if it actually sticks around.
