Not as tame as it looked

We live in a retirement village of around 150 houses. Quite a few are occupied by single people. However the wider neighbourhood has a large number of young families, many from other lands and cultures.
At the festival held yesterday on the oval opposite the village, there were dozens of youngsters and a lot of sideshow rides tailored to younger children. One of them was this mini roller-coaster.
It looked very tame when we first saw it but it gradually filled with young Mums and quite small children. At the entrance was a board marked with two different height levels. A child had to be x cms high to go on the ride with an adult and y cms if they wanted to go on it unaccompanied.
We were surprised and entertained when it started off as it went really fast and soon had all the occupants screaming. I’m sure some of the Mums’ legs were shaking when they eventually touched firm ground again.

I actually do not mind the speed and the up and down parts. I afraid of heights. The black hole at Disneyland taught me that. I was like that was fun, kind of fast and twisty turny, but I will not do it if I can see the ground from a hundred feet in the air.
That one is in a tall building and pitch black so you cannot see.
