Yes, Americans Eat Large Portions

United States

Now to be fair, this isn't the average size of a burger in the United States, but it's not too far off. Most burgers in sit-down restaurants in the USA come with two beef patties. Hubby ordered an extra beef patty for $5.00 more, so this humongous burger has three beef patties. I'm guess it weighs nearly a pound. This burger has an onion ring on it, pickles, lettuce, bacon, and cheese. But this was so huge I thought it would interest you. And yes, hubby ate every bit of it.

We like to get our money’s worth. If I’m going to pay a lot, it better be extra tasty, extra big, or a mixture of both. I like the big portions because that just gives me another meal. I don’t usually eat a large portion in one sitting. I love having lunch, and then having enough left over for dinner that night or lunch tomorrow afternoon.

I would do the same, take home the extra and eat it later!

Evidently the husband was really hungry! It does look delicious.but you are correct, it’s huge. I would have had to take some of it home for another meal.

I feel full just looking at it! On a trip to LA, I ordered a meat loaf sandwich and couldn't finish it, far too big
