I didn't know points were taken, but now I will keep a closer watch on mine. Did you ask mylot directly? You might try contacting them.

i think you get points taken away if they find something offensive in one of your posts. Like bad langage orsomething. I really dont know though...

I guess if you post something that people find offensive, or complain about, or if people just find your Post to be off the wall, and put a - sign with it.
