What kind of houseplants do you have?

houseplants - indoor gardening at its best...healthy green plants, some can have spines and thorns...these are tall and happy looking.

I have 3, an elephant ear (angelwing) bargonia,a palm and a little green thing with tiny purple bells on. I feed them one a week and make sure they're not to dry but my houseplants never survive long, I try but they die - dunno why. What about you?

succulent jade plant - a green fleshy plant that is fairly slow to grow and seemingly only rewards you with blooms every 50 years
I have several plants...african violet blooming white, 2 coleus like living quilts, a pothos, Aloe Vera, Asparagus fern and my prise is the Jade plant...also have an spider plant and amaryllis on its 2nd year. I let them vacation outdoors in the summer and feed them occasionally with the dish water, since that acts as fertilizer. I share any finished compost with them when I can! Thanks for responding!!

I was at Wal Mart last night, looing for something and found a whole bunch of orphan plants--$8.00 plants reduced to 50 cents. I bought a Boston fern and a narrow leaf croton. I run fluorescent lights a lot in the winter. Try to keep them moist, but not soggy. That helps me feel better, too. I have way too many to count.

houseplant - mystery plant, we are on the prowl for an answer, the type of plant often gives you the information you need to grow them successfully
find a pic on the net if you can or take a pic and load it in computer and share it here, if I don't know maybe someone else will. Important since it might dictate the care it expects.

Whulst I love plants I don't have many at home, to start with the cats eat them and dig them up, and whilst I'm good at looking after my vegetables and the plant soutside, I don't seem to be as good with the ones that live indoors. Odd really, I love houseplants, I'm just not much good with them

I don't have any, as I don't have a green thumb, and my two cats would eat them.
