Yup, there's good and flaw in FF9. Some of the good things about it is 4 characters battle system like the older FF and many sidequests. Some people dislike it because the characters look childish, personally I don't have any problem with that. But one of the most obvious flaw is no multi-hit skills/moves. Once your characters get high level, for example, manage to inflict to do 9999 damage, that's all there is. No multihit, like Cloud's Omnislash and Squall's Lionheart. So, later in the game, Zidane can inflict 9999x1 with his best move, but his second best move also do 9999x1.

I'm also a fan o final fantasy. Played then all till final fantasy x. Chrono trigger is also a great game as well as Secret of mana. Almost all R.P.G. for super Nintendo were good. I started playing rgp with the game Wonder Boy in Monster World, which is not a true rpg but I think it was a good start. Then the game that convinced me into playing rpg was shining force. Really a good game!

Hi, I don't play FLYFF, so I probably can't help, but some of my friends are. I think it's a nice game, but personally, I just don't have enough time to leveling. If you are asking about RYL, then I probably can help. :D

We share the same interest indeed. ;) In my opinion, playing RPG is like reading books or watching movies, the different thing is, we actually participate in it. You've played Breath of Fire, which series? For me Breath of Fire V: Dragon Quarter on PS2, was indeed the hardest one, I think it's the hardest RPG I've played. The whole game is hard! :D

I love RPGs. Most recently I've been playing an older game called Fallout (actually I'm on the second one now). It's pretty tricky, as it's time sensitive. I know there's a bunch of walkthroughs on it out there, but I really try to stay away from those the first time I play a game. It's very fun and addicting though, I really suggest checking it out.

OMG Fallout, that was a very cool game. I've played both Fallout and Fallout 2, and also Fallout Tactics. I like this game, you can customize your character's traits and abilities, cool weapons and armor. If you are currently playing Fallout 2, I suggest you watch out for several known glitches of the game, it gave me such troubles. If you already got the car, watch out because at some map the car boot just disappear, so you can't take out anything you store in it, unless you go to another map. I think there are several patch out there that fix these glitches, you should look for it.

Tibia, I also played that game, but it's a long time ago. The problem is, when the server get too crowded I got trouble to log in, so I quit. :( It's an interesting game actually. It almost reflects real life. Hey, if you love Tibia, why don't you try Runescape. I think this game is cool also, plus they have better graphic.

I play a text based mafia rpg on the web. i've been playing it since feb of this year and i am still playing it. the game goes in rounds of about 45 days and you always start out from scratch. I cant really explain the game play, i would have to call it complex in some of the areas. But it is a really fun game and it contains a very nice community of people. Im not gonna list the website in here cause i dont know if thats allowed on mylot.but if anyone is interested feel free to hit me up with a message and you can check it out.

Mafia, yeah I know about it, I also have registered long time ago, but I didn't continue playing due to time restrictions. Interesting game though, worth checking out. Web based RPG can also be exciting. I myself played a web based strategy/management game called Travian, been playing for almost half a year. Almost everyday there will be intense battles which sometimes prolonged to war. The community also ok.

i love to play any decent role playing game that uses magic and you have to fight monsters. my favorite is final fantasy. i just got done beating ys the ark of napishtim which is a really cool role playing game and i just beat final fantasy x. yeh i know the game is old but i have neglected it for a while but i had to play it cuz i got the newest final fantasy xii for ps2. i have not beat x-2 because my copy got messed up but i am going to go get another copy so i can play. but for the final fantasy x i had the hardest time beating the boys father at the end until i realized he was vunerable to zombie and poison and also having auto life is sweet to cuz anytime he kills you, you come right back to life. i just heard there are other ys games but i have never played them before. does anyone know if they are any good?
