Catcher in the Rye

Should this book be banned in schools? Many parents argue against this, but many teenagers are unnafected by it.

I read The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger when I was in high school for a book report. The book is really tame when compared to what teenagers have to face nowadays. I really believe that everyone should read The Catcher in the Rye at least once in lives and the book should not be banned.
