Yes. I have always really liked the name, "Acen." (Pronounced A-Sin) I had a baby corn snake a few years ago and I named her Acen... I plan on naming my first son Acen, so to me it is a human name.

I have a sweet green parrot and few australian parrots at home. I call my sweet green parrot "laadou bachou" means lovely baby. Its a lovely title but n't a real human name. I call it paarou means lovely, ganda bacha means dirty baby, choonou means lovely. I gave it titles in urdu language as urdu is my mother tongue.

It varies. I have a cat named Ellie, who I named after the lead character in a musical I performed in (Leader of the Pack), but that is the only one I named. I have 3 other cats that my parents names...one is Coors (because when she was little, she was silver and ran really fast so we called her the silver bullet), one is Freckles (because she has freckles..obvious), and one is Kilowatt (because my dad brought her home from work, which is an electric company).

Normally , in India we give English names to the Dogs. And I think most of the names I hear are sort of nicknames used for human beings, like tony, titoo, Charles etc. Some indian names like moti, Rani, Kalu, Raja etc are also nick names used in India to address human beings.BUt I have never seen addressing a Dog with full length name as used in case of Human beings ! Yes I read some where in a News paper that some one named his dog resembling one of the most famous personality in US. Yes There can be different types of people with different mentalities , but I think no body names ones dog deliberately with a human name !

well our current cat is called..catface, or fatcat! lol! we just couldn't place a name on her so my oldest sister just gave her those charming nicknames!
And she had 4 kittens a while back whom we called, mitsy, lenny and Carl, and Screech!....they're gone now but they were the most adorable kittens..:)

Yes and I think others do the same.
Do you celebrate Christmas? If yes, I will take this opportunity to greet you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year (though is not yet Dec. 25, I may not have a chance to greet you anymore so I will do it now).
