going to prison at a young age?

See i grew up in a very abusive and alcoholc childhood,by the time i was 13 i was doing time in the youth home,my first crime was a stolen car.Anyways that set up my teenage years for some real trouble,so iwas in and out of the youth home pretty much was a ward of the state, that means u are state raised. Then i turned 18 old enough to go to jail,so what do i do i end up in jail.I spent like 6 months, when i got out i did not learn my lesson so i got a new case for breaking and entering a building,i recieved jail time and a drug and alcohol program plus 2 years probation, well as soon as i got to the program i did not last 2 days and i left,so now i was on the run from the law.Anyways i ended up getting caught, when i went in front of the judge he said i was a menace to society,i was sentenced to 5 to 10 years in prison,i was 19,this was a non violent crime and i recieved that much time.So after a year in prison i escaped went to detroit and got cought, well then i had to finish my first bit before i could start a new one, which i recieved 2 to 5 years for my escape so i had to do the flat 5 before i could start to 2 years. But i have been out now for 11 years, what i want to do is write a book about my life because maybe it can be inspirational to help someone in there life,im now 37 and have a pretty good life but most people that live the life i have lived they can never overcome it.Can i get some feed back on this being a good book,i have lots to talk about.

firstly i think you are very brave for putting your story in here.and yes i think a book is a great idea letting others know how to break the prison cycle and what you went through may be very help full to some.it sounds like you had it pritty hard for the first part of your life its good to see you have made it and even better that you are trying to help others you need a good pat on the back well done .

Tell your story...it will help you...it will help others. Even if just one person reads it and they turn their life around...then you accomplished something from what you have learned the hard way. There is hope and you are proof. We all make mistakes and with some guidance can be put on the right path. God speed...good luck and glad to hear you are honest with yourself. Get people who you affected by your actions to help in the process...it will be good for them too.

It is a great thing to put your story into a book. It will be good for you, an accomplishment that does not put you in jail again, and their will always be people who can learn something from another person's experience. You seemed to have learned your lesson, as you say. You are no longer a menace to yourself. Put that learning onto paper, I'll read it.

just the thought that you have so much to tell in your book n u wanna inspire others is really brave and also inspirational on your part.not many ppl or jus one in a million will think the way u do even after goin through all this.its jus because u have kept your concise alive.the thing we all need to learn from you is being a true human being,no matter how u are potrayed,u need to be answerable to urself..and trust me u have actually won urself. you should definitely go ahead with your idea of a book.people will learn a lot n many in your position ill really get hope in desperate situations. goodluck!!:)
