Hogwash!!!

hi hershe hogwash means nonsene, or thats a bunch of crap, or thats nuts or thats untrue, that is all it means,it does not stand in for a bad word,its not swearing it means you think some statement made is not true, that its hogwash, something only fit to wash a hog with lol lol lol.

I agree with the above post, I think it was one of those words that was used in place of a bad word. My dad used to use "Bull Roar" for that other famous expression. I also think it referred to the things that pigs liked to roll around in, that is the wet, runny, mud that they like to cover themselves with. And, that mud often looked like something else that was a dirty word, literally.

i think that word is for people who don't like to use bad words i think that is one of the funniest words i have ever heard
