Religion on Marriage??

Dear friends yesterday I saw an article in newspaper that a guy was killed by his girlfriend's family because the the guy was Muslim and meanwhile the girl was from a Chritian family .....
Now question arises how much religion is important to u to marry a girl or a guy?? pls feel free to discuss ....

I guess this happened in inidia.These things happen here because of too many religions here and both islam and christianity want to have a real hold in india.These abrahamic religions cannot tolerate other religions and has always shed blood in the name of religion.Nw they want to become majority in india,you can see this in the population explosion among muslims.And so they will go to any level to avoid inter religious harmony and would certainlyoppose iner religious marriage.These days hindus are also moving in this direction through some fundementalist hindus

yeah u r right .... its in INDIA ... though I am an Indian ... I have to say that the brutality in the name of religtion is to mugh in INDIA

yo me too from inida.The thing is basically divide and rule policy brought in by the british.Oh i forgot to tell divide and rule policy was something christian clerics invented and not british politicians(they r too dumb 4 that).And then the caste system that too is a british invention.If you read amrco polo there he tells how close were thelifes of low casteand higher castes.Now our politicians aretakin these one step further thru their vote bank politics.
