As I browsed through the discussions here at MyLot.Com, I noticed that there have been various conversations regarding the opportunities at Associated Content. I have seen questions regarding the benefits of writing for Associated Content, inquiries as to whether they really pay or not, and more. As a member of Associated Content, I would just like to say that this is a wonderful way to earn cash by writing. You can also earn cash by submitting audio and video. The great thing about Associated Content is that there is no limit to the income that you have the potential to earn. Once you submit something to Associated Content, it generally takes about one week to be approved. If you are approved, they will offer you a certain amount of money for your submission. I generally accept their offer. You can receive anywhere between $3.00 - $20.00 per submission. Once you accept the monetary offer, it can take anywhere from 24 hours to 72 hours to receive your payment. Payment is issued in the form of Paypal. The following represents some of the earnings that I have received by writing for Associated Content. I downloaded a history from Paypal into Excel, copied it over into word, and will paste it here: Date Time Time Zone Name Type Status Currency Gross 12/2/2006 11:17:05 PST Associated Content Payment Received Completed USD 9 10/30/2006 22:34:25 PST Associated Content Payment Received Completed USD 7 10/23/2006 22:03:58 PDT Associated Content Payment Received Completed USD 10 10/23/2006 22:03:58 PDT Associated Content Payment Received Completed USD 10 10/23/2006 22:03:58 PDT Associated Content Payment Received Completed USD 10 10/23/2006 22:03:57 PDT Associated Content Payment Received Completed USD 10 10/23/2006 22:03:57 PDT Associated Content Payment Received Completed USD 10 10/23/2006 22:03:56 PDT Associated Content Payment Received Completed USD 10 10/20/2006 9:18:38 PDT Associated Content Payment Received Completed USD 10 10/20/2006 9:18:38 PDT Associated Content Payment Received Completed USD 10 10/19/2006 7:57:59 PDT Associated Content Payment Received Completed USD 10 10/19/2006 7:57:58 PDT Associated Content Payment Received Completed USD 10 10/19/2006 7:57:58 PDT Associated Content Payment Received Completed USD 10 10/19/2006 7:57:57 PDT Associated Content Payment Received Completed USD 10 10/16/2006 22:42:03 PDT Associated Content Payment Received Completed USD 10 10/16/2006 22:42:02 PDT Associated Content Payment Received Completed USD 10 10/13/2006 0:27:28 PDT Associated Content Payment Received Completed USD 10 10/13/2006 0:27:27 PDT Associated Content Payment Received Completed USD 10 10/13/2006 0:27:27 PDT Associated Content Payment Received Completed USD 10 10/13/2006 0:27:26 PDT Associated Content Payment Received Completed USD 10 10/13/2006 0:27:25 PDT Associated Content Payment Received Completed USD 10 10/11/2006 23:16:48 PDT Associated Content Payment Received Completed USD 10 10/10/2006 0:04:02 PDT Associated Content Payment Received Completed USD 10 10/10/2006 0:04:01 PDT Associated Content Payment Received Completed USD 10 10/10/2006 0:04:01 PDT Associated Content Payment Received Completed USD 10 10/2/2006 21:52:56 PDT Associated Content Payment Received Completed USD 8 10/2/2006 21:52:53 PDT Associated Content Payment Received Completed USD 8 10/2/2006 21:52:49 PDT Associated Content Payment Received Completed USD 8 10/2/2006 21:52:46 PDT Associated Content Payment Received Completed USD 7 10/2/2006 21:52:43 PDT Associated Content Payment Received Completed USD 8 10/2/2006 21:52:40 PDT Associated Content Payment Received Completed USD 6 10/2/2006 21:52:36 PDT Associated Content Payment Received Completed USD 8 10/2/2006 21:52:33 PDT Associated Content Payment Received Completed USD 8 10/2/2006 21:52:30 PDT Associated Content Payment Received Completed USD 8 10/2/2006 21:52:27 PDT Associated Content Payment Received Completed USD 8 10/2/2006 21:52:23 PDT Associated Content Payment Received Completed USD 8 10/2/2006 21:52:20 PDT Associated Content Payment Received Completed USD 9 10/2/2006 21:52:17 PDT Associated Content Payment Received Completed USD 8 10/2/2006 21:52:16 PDT Associated Content Payment Received Completed USD 8 10/2/2006 21:52:14 PDT Associated Content Payment Received Completed USD 8 10/2/2006 21:52:10 PDT Associated Content Payment Received Completed USD 8 10/2/2006 21:52:07 PDT Associated Content Payment Received Completed USD 8 10/2/2006 21:52:04 PDT Associated Content Payment Received Completed USD 8 9/29/2006 10:51:41 PDT Associated Content Payment Received Completed USD 8 9/29/2006 10:51:40 PDT Associated Content Payment Received Completed USD 8 9/29/2006 10:51:39 PDT Associated Content Payment Received Completed USD 10 9/28/2006 9:40:07 PDT Associated Content Payment Received Completed USD 10 9/28/2006 9:40:04 PDT Associated Content Payment Received Completed USD 10 9/28/2006 9:40:03 PDT Associated Content Payment Received Completed USD 10 9/25/2006 17:22:27 PDT Associated Content Payment Received Completed USD 8 9/25/2006 17:22:26 PDT Associated Content Payment Received Completed USD 10 9/25/2006 17:22:26 PDT Associated Content Payment Received Completed USD 3 9/25/2006 17:22:25 PDT Associated Content Payment Received Completed USD 10 9/25/2006 17:22:24 PDT Associated Content Payment Received Completed USD 10 9/21/2006 18:38:13 PDT Associated Content Payment Received Completed USD 10 9/21/2006 18:38:12 PDT Associated Content Payment Received Completed USD 6 9/20/2006 21:01:55 PDT Associated Content Payment Received Completed USD 6 9/20/2006 21:01:55 PDT Associated Content Payment Received Completed USD 10 9/20/2006 21:01:54 PDT Associated Content Payment Received Completed USD 10 9/19/2006 15:11:59 PDT Associated Content Payment Received Completed USD 3 9/19/2006 15:11:58 PDT Associated Content Payment Received Completed USD 5 9/7/2006 17:16:05 PDT Associated Content Payment Received Completed USD 5 • The numbers are the very end represents the dollar amount that I have made with Associated Content. Wow! that's very good... I'm glad that you were able to make money selling articles online. I work with another article site a lot, called constant content, and if you don't mind waiting a little longer to be paid, i find that you can make more in the long run. Personally, I just don't think that $3 or $5 is really fair pay for the work that you must have put into your articles. I was just looking over the articles that sold today, and in the last 25 of them that sold, the majority sold for $40, that's about three times what many of your top selling ones sold for. But even better yet, there were two articles that sold for $150 dollars today, and that's not a rare thing either. I've even sold articles that high before. And I know that they do pay, since I've gotten just over $450 from them in the time I've been there, and that is just from selling around 20 articles. With the amount of articles that you must be writing (which must be a lot cause of all the ones that you sold!) you shouldn't have any problem selling them for larger amounts of money on constant content. The earnings there are unlimited, and the more you write the more you'll sell and the more you'll make in the end. Anyway, check it out if you are interested in learning (and posibly earning) more for your writing. Here's the link: http://www.constant-content.com/?aref=2932

Excellent, since you are already a member, you shouldn't have much problem then starting out. Just take a look around the site and see if you can figure out how to post up some articles, if you have any problems feel free to write to me on here, and I'll try and help you out or you can post on the forums for that site, because they will help you in there too.

Thank you for sharing this with me. I am , in fact, a member of that website but to be completely honest, I was a tad bit confused on where to start and exactly how things worked. I would love to write articles and get paid a higher rate than I currently do. Of course, I find many jobs at freelancewriting.com and do odd jobs for people as well.

Thanks. On your advice, I went ahead and submitted an article just to see what comes of it. What was the longest that you had to wait for one of your pieces to get sold?

I agree as a member of associated content.I can say that they do pay. I have been rejected but when I was I redid what I wrote and it got published. Not a whole lot but I mean it is money that comes in handy.

Yes, on occasion, they may reject an article but they are very nice in that they offer suggestions for improvement and tell you to resubmit. The most that I have ever received for an article is $10.00, but there were many days that numerous articles got approved for $10 a piece all at once, so, that helped me pay a few bills and acquire things that I may have needed or wanted at the time. It is a decent site and given the time to produce many articles a day, the income could sustain someone.

Yes, thank you for your response. It is a nice place to do business. Just keep in mind that writing articles takes time and patience. The way to make the most is to discipline yourself to write a certain number of articles per day and submit them. This way, when the money does start rolling in, it is on a consistent basis. Thanks for reading my article and posting a response.

ashiflett, thanks for the info. It's great that you've been able to consistently get $8 and 10. Are these for articles or videos? Could you give a link to your AC page? I'm a member too but after getting $6 and $7 for my first couple articles have been getting offers of only $3 and $4--even though the latter articles were exclusive to AC. I'd like to look at your work and see if there's something I can learn in terms of topics, keywords, etc. I've been a professional writer (in publishing, journalism, marketing, etc.) so it seems there's something I'm missing in what I'm submitting.

Thanks much! I'm going to pretty much concentrate on the special offers, since at least I know I'm guaranteed a certain amount for the time I put in.

Sure, you can find my original page at http://www.associatedcontent.com/user/19105/angela_shiflett.html . I actually left for a short time and was invited back, so, I created a new Content Producer ID and all that and currently have three articles submitted. I really did not do anything special except participate in many of the content special offers. If you are unfamiliar with these, go to the newsletters tab and sign up for the weekly content offers, or content offers (I forget exactly what it is called), but they often give a set amount like $8 and $10 for special content offers. When I start publishing on my new profile, I will give you that link too.

Hi there! I've recently discovered Associated Content, and it looks very intriging. I have not yet signed up myself as I'm finishing the current term in university and have enough writing to do on final papers. But AC looks like a good way for me to practice my writing skills and make a little money at the same time. Thanks for the suggestion! I'll have to investigate further. :) ~Wyrdsister

You are more than welcome. Associated Content is a great place to practice your writing skills. In addition, it pays relatively well. I just wish that I would have discovered AC many years ago!

I'm sorry to say that AC only pays writers who are based in the U.S. They'll accept non-paid articles from writers anywhere, but only U.S. residents can be paid for their work. I believe it has to do with the way they do the taxes for the site. I'm a longtime AC writer (clout 8) and have always enjoyed working with them.

Thank you for clarifying that. I just researched the site and was coming back to post what I found, but you beat me to it ...lol. Thank you for answering this person's question for me.

I believe as long as you can accept Paypal payments where you are located, you may become a paid member of Associated Content.

Yes thanks to another referral I discovered associated content too. I just have one question. Their FAQs are a bit unclear. My question is this... will they make an offer right away or do you have to wait until after it is approved. They don't just approve everything, or do they? Please accept my friend request and send some more details. Thank you.

When you submit something to AC, usually it takes about five days to get a monetary offer. They will allow items that they do not offer money for to be published on the site if you allow them to publish it.

I'm already a member of constant-content, but I don't like to put all my eggs in one basket, so maybe I'll sign up for this one as well. You never know when a company might go out of business and leave you without an income.
