I have noticed that there is nothing but scary movies coming out. This has been going on for a little over a year straight. I personally can not stand scary movies. I hate feeling afraid. Why have there been so many? Is this the new popularity? Tell me your thoughts!

There is one coming out on Christmas Day. Christmas Day of all days called Black Christmas. How stupid is this? Personally I think this is very inapropriate. Who is going to want to watch this on such a happy day?

I'm getting deja vu for some reason. Yes, I know exactly what you mean. Why couldn't it have been Black Valentine's Day?

It's getting boring. They need to come out with something new! My husband and I used to love going to the movies, now when we try to go we just stand there looking at the list of movies and can't find anything. It is ridiculous! Thanks for the response!

I dont like scary movies too much but there is always something thrilling and adventurous about these kind of movies. Top 5 scariest movie scenes to me: 5 Poltergeist- "Clown under the bed" 4 Alien- "Chestburster" 3 The Shining- "Danny takes a trike ride" 2 Carrie- "Surprise Arm" 1 Psycho- "Shower scene"

scar movies are meant for the people who like the thrills of hwatchin a horror movie...if you choose not to watch them its totally upto you...but there are certainly a majority of people who like to be scared while watching a movie...

Some people seem to like scary movies. I like scary movies, especially vampire movies. These kinds of movies make a lot of money that's why they are popular.

I love scary movies, as long as they're good. It's too bad that most of the ones coming out are of horribly poor quality. They don't really scare me; they rely purely on "startle effect," and that is not true horror in my opinion.

yes, i noticed the same. i love scary movies when i was younger, no more now (my fright-tolerance isn't high anymore, hehe). but i love the "scary movies", the ones that made fun of those horror flicks, hilarious! :)

I, too, have noticed that there are a lot of scary movies coming out, or remakes of older movies. I actually like scary movies, I just am not a big fan of all the blood and gore in some of them. It does seem a bit strange to me that they are bringing out movies like this at the holidays though.

I like some scary "thrillers" rather than "horror" movies but not all and not all of the time, most new productions are very stupid and has no new ideas or creative side to it, just makeup and/or computer graphics. I think "The Others" was a great example of a good scary movie and it was different than all the zombies and vampires nonsense.
