There are many single people out there. Some like it, some don't. Just hang on. When you least expect it, someone special will come into your life.

Well I do hope that I won't be single for long. I'm really not used to it. I sometimes wonder how these single people, who chose to be single, manage the cold nights. I do hope Mr. Right comes soon!

i was single long long time, while my all frieds had their boyfriends. but i dont think that having partner is something that makes u feel valuable or precious. i thought that if some boy would be interested in me it would mean im great. and i estimate my value only with interesting of others. so single doesnt mean worse or unhappy or anything like that. when i understood this i saw good points of being single like freedom and no jealoucity, no stress. i had many friends to have fun with.

Well I could understand that being single means being free and having many friends to have fun with as you say so. But honestly, do you like being single? If you were given the chance to be single or be with somebody, which one would you choose?

For biological and emotional needs, you need a partner. One cannot go on change the partners for trivial reasons. There are lots of people who would like to live alone without partners, without any family members. But man is a social animal and he wants to live in a society. Greater happiness can be obtained in care, love, affection towards a partner and the reciprocation by the parnter. One of the objectives of the existence of man is procreation. Having a family with children, adds tremendous happiness. Watching children grow, their playful things, mischiefs, their efforts to adopt to the life style etc. all engage you in life fruitfully.

I do agree with you that man is a social being and can achieve greater happiness by the reciprocation of a caring and loving partner. The thought is that, I wonder how these single people who chose to be single, outside of the religous sect and say that they are happy? Are they making it up or are they truly happy being alone? Is there something wrong with them or is it just me being judgemental?

Some people prefer it that way. Maybe they are used to do those things. Maybe its just a matter of getting used to the idea of being single.

I think I could! I've been married 26 years and love my hubby very very much, and our children and my inlaws, and really enjoy all that and feel I have the very best of lifestyles, but I could be single too. I would make a good loner. I'm alreadty part hermit. I love solitude. No matter how much I love others, I like times of solitude the best. But then again, I am very religious, and some of that solitude is spent not quite alone... I think, however, there would be times of lonliness and feeling lonely. If given the choice, I would choose my family and married life everytime :))

That's what I like to, to be with someone. I could not imagine life alone. But some people say its just a matter of getting used to.

Well, one can do that but it would be a very lonely life to live. As we grow older, we need a companion to share the daily things with us - be it just dinner or tv.

It is good to be single in order to develop your life. If you concentrate on making yourself happy and doing things you enjoy you can become a better person. You will find peace in your life. I have found that if a person walks around unhappy and begging people to love them they will not find anyone. But if you don't constantly think about being alone you will attract someone with your positive energy.

I think people that feel that its wrong,or weird,or think its sad for people to choose to be single are just afraid to be alone themselves,.and maybe need to get to know thmeselves and spend time alone before they judge singles..I am 33 and single and by choice..for now..yes i have been in some bad bad bad relationships..and that just made me a stronger woman..I had my son 4yrs ago and its been just us..by my choice..i like being able to do what i want when i want..have what friends i want..freedom..and deff having the bed tomyself is a big bonus! lol..i lived with someone my while life from age 16-28..and to be honest i like the way my life is..and if i meet mr right thats awesome..but if i dont no biggy..because im happy the way my life is.

I think it is really hard to be single. I would not know much about the topic because I am married. But some people seem to be contented even if they are single. It's really their choice.
