Stubborn verruca problem

I have a verruca on my foot which is very stubborn. Ive had it cut out, burned away, even got someone to buy it(old wives tale).Ive bought all kinds of lotions and potions and even tried homeopathy. Ive been to two chiropodists who have treated it and assured me its gone but back it comes very quickly. It is very uncomfortable and I limp when walking because of it. Its going on for about 4 years now and I have to get rid of it but dont know what else to do. Any suggestions would be most welcome.

It sounds very like what we call a Plantar wart, on the sole of your foot. My brother had similar problems and finally had it cut out in an in office procedure. To my knowledge it has not come back since. It was very stubborn to have treated.

Another one of those old wives tales is to rub a garlic clove on it.Best of luck getting rid of it.

Hi I cannot help you with the Verruca problem, but what I can tell you is.... Believe the "old wives tales" I had a SERIOUS wart on my finger when I lived at home with my parents.... I tried everything !!! And I mean everything!!! One day, my mother said to me... "Why dont you get a piece of meat, rub it on the wart, and then bury it in the garden" ! "When it rots, you will find that the wart will drop off" !! Well.... I couldnt believe it! Laughed all the way to school !!! But......... A couple of years later, when I started to work for a living, the thing was getting in the way of the machinery that I was working! It had to go! So.... I tried this "Old wives tale" You are not gonna believe this......... It actually worked!!! See if you can find a really good old wives tale and try it!
