Amount of Money that you think You could live with for your Retirement

How much money in the bank do you think is needed for a person to retire on? For all you retired persons, how much is really enough to go on an early retirement?

i won't be retiring till about 20 more years, God-willing. so it would be difficult to estimate now how much i'd exactly be needing. surely the value of money by that time will be a lot higher, don't you think?

My husband has keeping an eye on our retirement investments and we will be just fine when time to retire. Nothing to worry about. and should only get better as the years go on.
