how to start earning

i cant seem to earn anything . can anyone tell me what i'm doing wrong or what i need to do. thanks

if you notice to the left of your screen where it says mylot earnings, it will say'last updated 3 hrs ago' for example, thats because the earnings get updated every 24 hours...so just keep posting and it will go up...slowly but surely

I am new to this site myself, and I have already made a couple of dollars. The best that I can tell is to start a few quality discussions and reply to other posts. It seems the more you use the site, the more you earn overall...like I said, I am still new myself, but that is what I can tell so far.
