partiation of the india and pakistan .......it was right on 1947

People says 'Partition' is the brain child of England. From the beginning they have practised the theory - 'divide and rule' and they have succeeded to some extent. But my personal feeling is 'partition' is O.K. Instead of living together and fighting ... it is better to get separated. But my feeling is.... after being separated also we are quarrelling till now... then what's the use of partition?
