What is a criticle article?

Not necessarily negative, it is an examination of something. Could be other's writing, a movie, an idea or concept....it looks closely at,say a book, and states what is correct and what is incorrect about the ideas contained in the book based on historical evidence. A good critical review would not have any type of personal opinion, would not make a judgement whether something is 'good' or 'bad' but more a review against other resources for correctness. Also can be an expert opinion, like if your English teacher makes comments about a paper you wrote, but is usually knowledge-based rather than an opinion.
