Mine has to be Sayonara.
It is based on a novel by James Michener.
I think it was released in 1957.
Marlon Brando plays a Korean War fighter pilot, the son of a general, reassigned to Japan, where fraternization with local women is forbidden. After breaking off his engagement to another general's daughter, he finds himself falling for a Japanese entertainer, then struggling with his own bias.
It is a great movie about love and struggling against racism.

I really don't watch a lot of movies so its hard to pick a favorite. But I am a big fan of George Clooney and there are two of his movies that I really liked...One Fine Day and Out of Sight.
