Taking care of parents in their old age is responsibility of childerns or not?

I think taking care of parents in their old age is the responsibility of thier childerns.As they are completing their responsibility by growing up child nicely, taking so much of pain physically and mentally both. Now it's youngers turn to give helping hand to them instead of keeping them in old age homes.One important thing all should remember that everyone are going to become old no one can remain every time young. so they should fulfil their responsibilty.
