Darkness

are you afraid of the dark? when no one is around and if you turn off the lights do you feel some fear? when you sleep do you leave some dim lights open?
i have a problem, im not afraid of darkness, well infact im loving it, and i can never sleep when there is a little light, want complete darkness. but when i visit my sisters house she never want lights to turned off, and she can sleep that way while i dont and i stare and end up not sleeping at all.. thats why i dont go to her house coz we have that difference..
can you sleep with lights on? i want total darkess, and some people fear it..
why do you think its giving them fear?

lol yea im afraid of the dark a lil. ever since i was small. i guess its from fear of the unknown u dont know whats in the dark n then the scary movies put things in ur head when ur little lol but now im not so bad i can be in the dark but there has to be a lil bit of dim light n if its complete darkness i can tolerate it for only so long ..til i find the light switch lol

well i fear the darkness on some days and other days i don't mind it. i guess i fear it cuz i watch horror movies and for some reason i form images of these scary figures and can't sleep. otherwise the darkness isn't that bad.

I used to be afraid of the dark when I was younger. I was convinved there were bugs or ants all over me in the middle of the night since i could only see blackness, hehe weird what children imagine. Im not scared of it anymore unless I watch a scary movie then i maybe turn on a night lite

i only want the tv light,thats so i were im going an plus i am afraid of the dark alittle an i dont want the boggie man to get me. lol

I am one of the people who fear darkness. I don't know why I fear it, but I do. I have to leave some kind of light on when I go to sleep to where I can see when I open my eyes. When my boyfriend is sleepig with me I sometimes can turn the tv off becaise I know he is there with me, but when I am alone I just can not be in the dark.

I am not afraid of darkness while I love darkness instead! I don't care if the lights are turned off when I go to sleep,but I want to stay in the darkness when I think about something or feel unhappy. Sometimes I like to turn off all the lights in my room,and stand beside the windows to look up to the sky full of stars! Or sit in my chair to think about something which I am puzzled. I feel that i can be more clear in my mind when I stay in the darkness. Maybe it seems there is no disturbence when it is dark around me.
