Why does everyone respond only to the top discussions?

I hardly respond to the top discussions..its almost always some stupid topic or the other. I prefer to choose topics from the new discussions section or the "no responses" section.

I just joined and have started 3 topics, only had 2 replies on one of them. Guess they aren't good topics. But being new to the site and still trying to figure out how it works. I think I will pretty much stay with with the new topics and the ones with no responses. See you all there

i love to respond to top discussions, too. they seem to be more interesting than the new ones. however, top discussions are not too many. so after answering those that interests me, i answer new discussions and discussions started by my friends.

dont worry fren, i am there to help u. Wht i generally do is replying to those discussions that have 0 responses. I think by this no body will feel that their posts r not being replied by nebody.......

yes, i added you to my friends, well im frustrated about too things that can go hand in hand i guess, people not being here and the ones that are seem to respond only to top discussions..uhgh

The only ones I ever respond to are the new ones. I've probably already responded to the top discussions since they seem to be the same every day.

Now all! Take me for example: I always look for the new discussions and try answering everybody! But only if I can or if I know the answer!
