What makes a good teacher? What is ur expectation of teachers? DO u expect them to be omniscient and omnipotent, or as human as you are?

well,i think to be a good teacher should have a lot of knowelge in his speacific areas in which he is teaching,he will also learn with the time, but the most important thing he should have the real care with the students,he know what the students need and want, and give the right ways to satisfy the students' need.

Well, left for me teacher are just the same as students as far as the term LIFE is concerned, the reason is that Life is the only Omniscient and Omnipotent teacher, the more we live, the more we learn, One stops learning until He/She perishes. So my only expection from a teacher is just passing across the higher knowledge he/she has also acquired, so that we too can cross that stage of maturity. A good teacher has all these qualities, he/she is also humble even though he might not want the students to know, but within him, he can also learn alot from his students. Thats my view on teacher

A good teacher is someone who loves knowledge and loves to impart their knowledge to others. They're patient, understanding, and can make a subject come alive, or at least take some of the mystery out of it. I've had good teachers for some of my most hated subjects, because of those qualities.

In my opinion the only thing required to become a good teacher is the love to the students. I am sure a teacher without not so profound kmowledge who loves his/her students is much much better tham one who is hugely knowledgeable, but does not love students.
