I have been a part of the child welfare system for over a quarter of a century and have heard almost everything. I wonder what the general public believes is the main people choose to foster. what do you think?

I wish it was for love, but I know better as far as the majority goes it is the money. I wish I could become one I believe all children deserve to be loved by at least 1 person.

This is true in many cases even though it is still puzzling because they do not get much money.

we like to think, its because they can't have a child of thier own. But everyone case is unique.

wow that is a good question i think that a good foster parent does it because maybe they have always wanted kids and couldn't have any and this is what they do to become a parent to make a difference in the life of a child to offer them love and security when they have never had it
