How do you mark best response in Mylot?

You should mark the best response as best. If someone has taken time to answer your question in a way that helps your discussion and contributes, then reward him/her. It shouldn't matter if they are your friend or not. The aim is to improve your discussion so that it is interesting and a lot of other people join in (which pays you better). Good thoughtful responses help in this goal.

I think you have to wait for a while, not everyone has the same thought process or indeed interested in the same discussions. It doesn't matter whether they are friends or not, if you think its a good discussion for you, rate it.

many do not take time to mark any best reponse as they do not get any money for doing it i believe that those people should be banned as they are breaking the rules granted it can take some time to get a few replies but some people post 500+ questions and never return to any of them some only wait for their friends to answer while the few members who take mylot seriously enough will repond properly and pick a best answer it is up to all of us to report rule breakers yes it takes time but i would rather ban them than put up with their cheating

whn i get the actual answr i was looking for , i mark them the best answr...and if i like the answr...i do giv thm plus rating

Almost never I remember to mark ua better reply, however I find that it is very difficult to be choosing which is best in the way of many good ones...

that all depends on ones wish if he thinks that is the right answer he is looking for then he will choose it

The purpose of it is to pick the best response submitted of course. Sometimes when you start a discussion you don't get many people responding. I usually wait a few weeks to give people a chance to post something. After that, I'll select the best response from the ones listed...if its possible. I personally still have a few unresolved discussions myself, because some of my questions are open-ended, no real perfect answer. So basically, decide for yourself and select. You'll find that people may still post to your discussion even after your selection and then you'll wish you selected one of theirs, but nothing you can do once you select someone's response.

as for me, i marked all who responded in my discussions as best responses. I mark them all as best responses. i rate positive rating also but i do not rate negative

I mark best response of what I feel best according to my line of thinking I think thats what others also do.Whe you have posed a question surely the best answer is the best response?

I personally wait for a while to see how many responses I will get to a discussion. then I actaully read the responses and mark the one that I feel is the best response to my discussion. that is after all what it is all about. I have noticed that there are some who seem to mark the first response as the best regardless of whether it is or not. I have also seen some that I believe are just marking their friends as the best response. It is just like anything else. there are going to be some people who use it the way it is meant to be used and others who just abuse it or use it incorrectly. For me I will stick with marking that one that I feel is the best and only after at least 4 days have passed since I started the discussion. However if I only have one response after that time then that is the person who will get my mark for best response but only if it really is a good response. I will not mark it if it is a simple yes or no answer or doesn't really address the discussion.

My best response would always be based on a)an obvious use of critical thinking b)positive attitude, i.e. no name-calling, etc. and c)content. Of course, this is all after I've learned how to do the whole best response thing.

i myself would usualy read what the reply is to my discussion whichever one i feel is the best answer to my response i would make it as best answer .i think its only fair to do it that way and been fair is the best way .

I think that everybody starts a new discussion, should read the responses and judge them without taking in consideration the person responded. The response is important, not the person who wrote it. It's a question of seriousness. Our friends are important and we love them, but they will receive our "Best response" only if their response is really interesting and intelligent.

ya one should mark the response best if it really deserves .As the name itself states that best means the good one among the posted replies and should be picked exactly and one cannot just mark a reply as best because he or she is her friend ,doing so will itself kill the meaning of the word best .so hope all u guys select the best reply among the posted.

I would mark best response whenver the discission interest me and I'll let you what I rated for your discission in my response.
