Do you find yourself enjoying kids shows more then the kids sometimes?

I was watching sponge bob squarepants with my daughter yesterday and got hooked on the show she fell asleep and I was still watching it. This also happened with a show called that's so raven and hanna montana. Granted these shows aren't the barney or teletubbies type of kids show that annoy me to no end but there still mostly meant for kids from about ages 7-15. I am 20 so not that old but does this happen to anybody else getting caught up in these shows like that?

Actually you are not alone. I am a guy and still watch Spongebob, Thats So Raven, but my favorite Disney show is Phil of the Future LMAO Don't feel alone, because you are not!

i don't have kids but yes, i used to watch cartoons everyday in the morning. That's when I had a tv. Then one day I was angry and I took my anger from the tv screen. I always wanted to see how it breaks. Any way, yes, I love watching cartoons. I am almost 36 now.

you cant forget fairly odd parents thats always funny .. the cartoons i watched as a child are all boring to me now .. like tom and jerry and loony toons.. why do you think that is .. times habe changed it take more to make me laugh

yes. i am 31 almost 32 next month but i still watch sponge bob squarepants an his friend patrick and lol a lot!

Yes i do, I like curious George.. I grew up with him.. and thats so raven, i like boy meets world.. but i do watch some others.. but don't get me wrong i still watch regular tv also.. LOL.

Oh my goodness, alot of the cartoons I have watched with my kid, are not even eared towards children.The mature content, may be very cryptic, but certainly isn't for kids, so i end up watching them and sending her off to play!!

yeah, that could easily happen to me. i always have to pinch myself to pay attention to the kid and not the show. lol

I do this all the time. I am so used to watching the shows that my son wants. I don't end up changing the channel when he takes his nap. It is funny because my sister(age 31) and I (age 28) strick up conversations about Spongebob or one of the other cartoons.

I'm not sure because I haven't got a kid yet. But when I get to that stage, I think I'll watch the show as well. Watching the show will give me ideas on what is the show all about and if ever the things being shown are beneficial or harmful to the well-being of my kid. As for the enjoyment, I'll probably just enjoy watching the show (as if I have a choice. hehehe).

I can totally relate. I love to watch the shows that my kids watch. Lately I've been into Drake and Josh, That's So Raven, Phil of the Future, and The Fairly Odd Parents. I also looove Rugrats. I've watched that ever since my now 9 year old son was little.

Yes!! I'm over twice as old as you and I find myself doing that. My grandchildren will leave and go home and I'll find myself not only watching the rest of the show that they were watching when they left, after they go home, but I may sit there and watch 2 or 3 more after that! LOL

yeah! I am already 19 years old.. And I am still really like to watch cartoon! sponge bob also nice to watch ^^ but the most i like is to watch anime (japanese cartoon).. and I can scream.. laugh.. and cry like a child ^^ lol

I watch spongebob with my daughter everyday. Thats so raven, hannah montana. Wonder pets and backyardigans are also pretty cool. We all do it hun.

Hell ya i am 18 and i love watch Pokemon and the simpsons but it's good humour and fun and i think there should be a child in everybody consiounce and man should not let it fade away and these things help..
