Why do countries need to produce biological weapons and bombs?

Can you tell me a good and very logical reason why these countries have to produce thee weapons of mass destruction? Is it for retaliation? I f it is then I guess every country who can afford to do so will produce these things. Is this a solution or just making things worse? Do they even think of the magnitude of destruction that these can bring? What do they think of while doing this?

Well i guess you are missing the point here. Your point is acceptable here. But its not the solution. Its the potential of those things which keep that country safe from danger. Whenever its a war scenario all the nations will have informations about the potential of others countries and would not afford to hurt it if they have the power of biological weapons and bombs.

So you mean if your country has control of a biological weapon, you have the potential to keep your country safe from danger? Don't you find it a little bit odd? To possess a weapon of mass destruction to keep your country safe? Thank you for your thoughts and have a nice day!

There is no logic. Human beings seem to get a thrill out of being able to blow each other up and kill each other. I have often wondered what is the point in having enough defense equipment to blow up the world NUMEROUS times over. You only need to do it ONCE...DUH!

Actually I also don't find any logic in it that's why I am seeking if there is one. If there would be done then I guess these people who build these weapons are lunatics.

When these things connected with nation interest or profit, it is hard to see the logic. We can't blame anybody for they just research and build these weapons. It seems to your country a threat but not to their own country. Can you say spys in other countries is good or appropriate, or spying other country's intelligence is logical? These spys seem a threat to your country, but very important to their own country. And the point is almost every country have intelligent agent or spy, and they are proud to work for their country. So are those scientists. They are proud to research these weapons for their country. No one should be blamed for this.

I agree, I think that it is just nuts that they would even make them, nut I guess if 1 country makes them then they all think they have too. It's like a big pissing contest with a harsher outcome.

All countries feel the need to think they are harder than the other and consequently will bring this fragile earth to it's knees with weapons that have been tested, but not thoroughly tested against the earths own natural defence system, we continue to make chemicals and weapons with no regard for others safety and well being, but rather the supposed and ridiculous notion of technological advancement.

YOu have to remember that biological weapons have been banned in almost the entire world. They are not developed or usually held as weapons in most powerful countries where they could be manufactured to be used in a full scale war.

Yaaa, Every country should have biological weapons and bombs. Beacuse then only the Big country like(A..) will atleast think once before they have a plan to attack that country. And the Big country itself think that they were the greatest people in the world and no one can defeat them. To stop that kind of thinking every contry should have atleast one weapon like this.

well in thsi copmetitive world the conutries wanna show thier power and wanna tel the rest of the world that they are leading in arms than the rest of the world so in the present senerio biological weapons are the best wat to do so becuase they are too much affective and a lot dangreous to human life

Greed for power is most likely the reason why. If a country has in possession of biological weapons and bombs, naturally it's a threat to others that if they don't submit to their wishes, they might let loose those weapons and it's really a big problem.
Countries especially the big and financially capable ones keep on researching to develop sophisticated weapons for threat but good if it's only for threat. If necessity requires they will use them so it's really a big problem. This happens because many do not believe in God.
If we believe and obey God, there would be no problem.

Nuclear Weapons are used to basically scare and intimidate non nuclear nations.....just think about it if a non nuclear state wages war on a nuclear state it may lead to nuclear weapons being used therefore non nuclear states must think twice before waging war ....so yes it simply makes things worse and the destruction it caues has never been seen ..Hiroshima Nagasaki was a A - Bomb the new weapons are next gen nuclear upto 5 times stronger ...Thats is why there is so much pressure being put on North Korea and Iran
