Hi, good to know you enjoy Indian cuisine. Have you tried anything at home before? I have a lot of recipes on hand, but not sure which one you are looking for in particular. So tell me what you want exactly and I can help you.

Everything I have had has been from a restaraunt or buffet. My brother was going to get me a cookbook for christmas but got me an "Asian Cookbook" which is good but not what I wanted. I do know I love Tandoori Chicken but there is also a dish (but I don't know it's name) but it seems to have a ground meat of some type, the yellow curry and I believe peas in it. But actually I would be happy with anything to get me started!! Thanks!

Hmm, well I am a vegetarian and have vegetarian recipes. Here's one for Veg.Biryani..you could add eggs to it. PUDINA PULAO: (Mint Pulao) Ingredients: Basmati Rice – 3 cups Green chillies – 8 to 10 Pudina (mint leaves) – ½ bunch washed and roughly chopped Salt to taste Veggies : Carrots – 2 ; Peas –(frozen or fresh) 1 fistful; Onions - 2 to 3 Sabuth masala: Elaichi – 2; Cloves – 3; Cinnamon stick – ¼ inch pc Oil or Ghee – 2 to 3 tbsp Ginger garlic paste -1 tbsp Lime juice – 1 tbsp Method: Wash & soak basmati rice for 15 mins. Heat oil in a cooker. Add sliced onions and fry till translucent. Add ginger garlic paste and mix well. Now add the boiled veggies- small cut carrots and peas.Add chopped mint leaves Mix well and then add measured quantity of water ( as required for the rice) close lid and pressure cook till pressure just begins. Remove lid and add the strained rice. Add lime juice and salt. Mix well and close lid. Put weight and cook for 10 mins. Mix well and serve with Raitha. Raitha is basically buttermilk/yoghurt with chopped cucumber, tomatoes, onions and chiilies. Add salt and cilantro. Hope you like it!
