From what I have read I believe the total to be around 150,000 people a day. 30,000 of them are poverty stricken children.On the other hand there are around 350,000 births a year. As of June or July 2006 the worlds population was 6,525,170,264.

150000*365=54750000 wow there more people dying every year then being born. does that mean the world population is decreasing?

I believe that the decline is due to the baby boomers. They are getting older and starting to die. Also people are having less children. I think that the population will crest and we will see a decline
